The Block Big Poche Rond reinterprets the Vide Poche Rond – augmenting its form to suit the storage and display of larger items, and in this iteration, transposing it to the distinctive materiality of Travertine or Calacatta marble, sourced from Carrara, Italy.

Because of the qualities of natural stone, color, and veining will vary from one piece to another.

Henry Wilson’s work combines a rational, democratic utility with an element of sculptural expression. There is a clear form and function in our products, but it’s important they also have feeling. We are interested in the awkward beauty that comes from something made by hand. We like to explore how imperfection can be introduced into an industrial process, to make something at scale that retains a sense of individual charm.
