Vintage Design
This striking floor lamp was designed by Anders Pehrson, the head of design at Ateljé Lyktan in Åhus, Sweden. The model is named Bumling and was produced in 1968. It’s part of the Bumling series, consisting of different models but always with the same shade distinct shade. It’s the most iconic lamp designed by Pehrson for Ateljé Lyktan.
The design is marked by the two seperate brass shades, which are fully adjustable into different positions with the goosenecks. The elegant tubular base and rod are in brass, with a built-in switch button attached to the rod.
The lamp is in very good original condition with minor wear and a beautiful patina consistent with age and use. The lamp is currently wired with a 220V European plug and is fully functioning.
