Vintage Design
Great set of metal sconces made in the 1950s by the Novalux Co. lighting company, from the ‘Black and White’ series. At the time, these lights were probably produced in a small series, because they are hard to find nowadays.
The lights brings contours of light through the openings between the metal segments, and provide a refined light to the surroundings. The lights are completely made out of metal, the concentric diffuser can be easily removed to change the bulb. The modest size and the black and white graphic color scheme makes this a perfect set of lights in any mix and match interior. The Novalux company became succesful developing a number of subtle lighting designs during the 50s and 60s.The designs are clearly influenced by Philips, Kalff, Sarfatti, and Stilnovo designs.

Good condition, all electra has been checked. Suitable for modern, E27 LED bulbs.
The lights are designed to be hardwired directly into the wall, but if desired they can easily be adjusted to let a wire come out of the metal cap. Both lights ready for instant use.
