Functionalist design has a has a reflector finished shade to optimize the light and create indirect way of lighting. This rare and innovative design is attributed to the influential Dutch modernist designer W.H. Gispen and manufacturer Daalderop in The Netherlands 1920’s with its recognizable curvaceous shade.
