Vintage Design
Number four Suspension lamps, produced using the ancient technique of cage-blown glass: the master glassmaker blows into his mouth the glass bubble inside a metal cage, which only partially contains its natural expansion. In this way, the final artifact is partly held by the cage and partly escapes from it, creating a play of tension that generates an object suspended in the act of emerging from its restraint; the cage is further embellished by a galvanic treatment that enhances its appearance, making it shiny and brilliant.
