Here, opposites not only attract but work in concert, challenging the singular identity of everyday objects and spaces.
Our pieces juxtapose Middle Eastern heritage and the craftsmanship of Damascene inlay with contemporary, young influence by creating new ways of reappropriating the traditional.

ARE’s mirror captures a moment freezing a digital frame, manipulating stability. Though a ‘glitch’ is temporary, here, it is transformed into a living art piece that lasts. It is one amongst 15 mirrors making it unique to its capturer.
